Reading: The Wheel of Time (Book 7 of 14, it's a fantasy novel and recently turned into an Amazon Prime show!)

Watching: What We Do In The Shadows (Season 6 starts this weekend! It's a vampire mockumentary following three vampires living in NYC. It's dumb but hilarious. Miriam, you might enjoy this show.)

Listening: The Bronski Beat (I'm such an 80s kid, even though I'm really not.)

Doing: Baking!

DANIELLE

Reading: The Poisons We Drink (The heroine has pink hair and a bratty sister. I love it.)

Watching Suits (My son discovered it on Netflix and is obsessed, so now we watch it as a family. The big takeaway is: "How did Prince Harry pull Meghan Markle? She is gorgeous.”)

Listening: Kendrick Lamar, all of his work (I love a petty man who can write) 

Doing: Walking the dog with ankle weights (Looks weird, but I've gotta multitask.)

Reading: East of Eden and The Most Dangerous Game (the latter when I need breaks from the former).

Watching: … my temper, because Scorpio 😌✨

Listening: Prince and Audioslave

Reading: Commonwealth by Ann Patchett and The Lover by Marguerite Duras

Watching: Rewatching Gilmore Girls & Marvelous Mrs. Maisel for the 4th time....😓

Listening: Margo Guryan and Irma Thomas (plus Astrud Gilberto! She’s always on rotation)

Doing: Working on an illustrated calendar for 2025 and sewing a new quilt dress

Reading: The Message, by Ta-Nehisi Coates 

Watching: I don’t watch anything.  

Listening: I stopped listening to political podcasts after the 2024 election.

Doing: Drawing.

STEVE

Reading: What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Blacker by Damon Young and The Myth of Normal by Gabor Mate (to me, both are self-help books)

Watching: Love is Blind: Argentina without subtitles. I don’t speak Spanish yet my predictions are still correct. Anger, betrayal, and love know no language. 

Listening: Fear When You Fly by Cleo Sol and Pookie’s Requiem by Saillor (also self-help)

Doing: Whatever I can get away with, but mostly 1st grade homework.
